  • 12 Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced deli chicken (or turkey)
  • 21/2 cups cooked pulled beef
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 30 dill pickle chips
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them connected, and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and melted butter; spread half over the rolls.
  4. Layer half of the Swiss cheese, followed by chicken (or turkey), pulled beef, pickles, and remaining cheese.
  5. In another bowl, combine remaining melted butter with garlic, onion, poppy seeds, and salt; brush over the top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; then uncover and bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden brown.
