  • 2.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup for dip base + 1.5 cups for topping)
  • 1/2 medium white onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 12 tsp hot sauce (to taste)
  • Frito Scoops for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the cooked ground beef and all other dip base ingredients until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased oven-safe skillet and top with additional cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until hot and bubbly; then add any desired toppings and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes.
