  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup sliced white mushrooms
  • 8 oz ball of fresh mozzarella
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  2. In a saucepan, heat tomato sauce with salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stretch the pizza dough into a circle about 14 inches across on a pizza stone.
  4. Spoon half a cup of sauce onto the dough, leaving an inch for the crust.
  5. Create a spiderweb pattern with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Prepare mushroom slices by cutting small lines at the base to form spooky skulls.
  7. Arrange mushroom skulls on top of the cheese.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes; then add ghost shapes cut from fresh mozzarella and bake for another 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
