  • 18 waffle cones
  • 1 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • clear vanilla extract
  • purple gel food coloring
  • green gel food coloring
  • various sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Bake the cupcakes according to your favorite box mix instructions or your homemade recipe. Allow them to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Add heavy cream and clear vanilla, mixing until smooth. Divide the frosting into separate bowls and tint with purple and green gel food coloring.
  3. Insert each waffle cone upside down on top of the cooled cupcakes to create witch hats. Mist the cones with black food color spray.
