Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (for icing)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until mixed well. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in flour and salt.
  3. In another bowl, create the cinnamon swirl mixture by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread blondie batter in the prepared dish, drop spoonfuls of cinnamon mixture over the top, and swirl gently using a knife.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Let cool completely before icing.
  6. For the icing, beat softened cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy. Drizzle over cooled blondies.
