  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Transfer batter to a piping bag and fill each well of the donut pan.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  7. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth; dunk donuts in glaze.
