  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed (1 stick)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat room-temperature butter and pumpkin puree until combined. Add sugar and mix well; then incorporate eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture while alternating with milk until smooth.
  5. For the crumb topping, mix cold butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until crumbly.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the prepared dish followed by half of the crumb topping. Repeat layers.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
