  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate cocoa powder (or black)
  • black gel food coloring
  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookie dough by creaming softened butter with sugars until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt before gradually incorporating into the wet mixture.
  3. For the slime filling, blend cream cheese with confectioners sugar, flour, vanilla, and neon green food coloring until smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop cookie dough onto a baking sheet; create an indentation and fill it with slime before covering with more dough.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly set but soft. Decorate with sprinkles if desired.
