Ingredients

  • 12 ounces chicken or beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fruit juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Nori sheets
  • 6 cups cooked sushi rice
  • Optional: furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken or beef into 8-10 pieces and place in a Ziplock bag.
  2. Mix soy sauce, fruit juice, and sugar in a bowl until dissolved; pour over the meat and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Drain excess marinade and pan-fry the meat on medium heat until crispy on both sides.
  4. Lay nori on a cutting board; place a musubi mold in the center.
  5. Fill with sushi rice, pressing firmly to create an even layer.
  6. Optionally sprinkle furikake on top of the rice.
  7. Place the cooked meat on the rice mound and wrap nori around it securely.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
