  • 1 cup water
  • 10 large vegan marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over low-medium until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Place vegan marshmallows on a lined cookie sheet and broil at 375°F for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add toasted marshmallows to the warm syrup, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and let it cool. Then mix in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
